What does it cost to use the Colleton Commercial Kitchen?

Create your own recipe.

Tailor make your production hours and storage requirements to suit your own business.  If you have other needs, please don't hesitate to call & discuss with the Kitchen Manager.

Initial tour & Consult......................FREE
Includes facility tour & overview.  At this time we can discuss your product(s) & ascertain what you need to accomplish in order to be able to use the facility.  By appointment only.


Application & Orientation .............FREE

This includes one-on-one safety & sanitation training, as well as getting to know the equipment.

Security Deposit ...............................$150

This non-refundable, one-time fee goes towards cleaning of the facility should you leave it in an unacceptable manner.  It also covers damage or breakages from misuse.  The deposit must renewed before the user can recommence production.  User is responsible for all costs associated with damage to equipment due to misuse.
 

Terms: Per production area.  Maximum of 6 workers per production area.

Prices based on calendar months.

 

Basic Kitchen Rental..............$20 / hour

Monthly rental agreements available after 6 months of consistent usage at manager's discretion.  Agreement will be term-based.

​

Kitchens available on a first come, first served basis only.  All bookings and fees are administered through The Food Corridor.

​

Bookings canceled within 24 hours of the start time will incur a 10% penalty fee.

PLEASE NOTE:

ALL FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.  ANY KITCHEN TIME SCHEDULED BEFORE THE RATE CHANGE WILL BE CHARGED AT THE CONTRACTED RATE.  ALL USAGE IS SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY THE KITCHEN MANAGER AFTER REGULATORY EVALUATIONS.

All rentals are by prior arrangement and can only be used by fully licensed CCK Users with an active SCDA Permit.

For businesses on the go.

To use CCK as your commisary you must carry product insurance with CCK as additional named insured.  

 

Mobile Food Unit Operators:

Access to potable water & gray water dump, dishwashing facilities and trash/grease disposal...........$30 / month

Please contact kitchen manager to discuss your storage needs.  We do not have a loading dock or forklift available for large deliveries.
